Acceptance of Terms

By booking or using any services provided by Norman Boats, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not proceed with booking.

Eligibility

• Renters must be at least 26 years old.
• Renters must have valid boating experience and comply with North Carolina boating laws.
• Proof of eligibility (e.g., valid ID, experience verification) may be required prior to boat delivery.

Rental Requirements

• All boats are delivered only to private docks at approved vacation homes or residences.
• We do not deliver to public marinas, ramps, or commercial docks.
• Boat rentals are self-operated. Captains are not provided by Norman Boats.
• No towables, skis, or additional recreational gear will be provided. Referrals to third-party vendors are available upon request.

Booking & Payment

• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Bookings are confirmed only after payment is received and eligibility is verified.
• All prices are subject to change without notice.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made 7 days or more before the reservation date may receive a partial refund (minus processing fees).
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the reservation are non-refundable.
• No-shows or late arrivals will not be refunded.

Safety & Liability

• Renters are fully responsible for the safe and lawful operation of the boat.
• Life jackets and safety equipment are provided and must be used as required by law.
• Norman Boats is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages caused by misuse, negligence, or violation of any laws during the rental period.

Damage & Security Deposit

• Renters are responsible for any damages incurred during their rental.
• A security deposit may be held at the time of booking or delivery.
• Any repair costs or replacement of damaged equipment will be deducted from the deposit.

Weather Policy

• If weather conditions make boating unsafe, we may reschedule or offer credit toward a future rental.
• Rain alone does not qualify for a refund or reschedule unless safety is impacted.

Code of Conduct

• Renters must treat the boats and the lake environment with respect.
• Excessive drinking, reckless operation, or any illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
• Norman Boats reserves the right to terminate a rental without refund if unsafe or inappropriate behavior occurs.

Modifications to Terms

Norman Boats may update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.
